The problem
I was repeating the same career story across resume tools, AI chats, spreadsheets, and application forms. Other job seekers were doing the same.
They often spent time tailoring an application before they knew if the role was worth it.
The key insight
I had shipped a resume builder. A customer cancelled after receiving their resume. They asked why they would keep paying once the document was done. The product had finished its only job. I had built a one-time output, not a system people needed for the rest of the search.
